You also need to wear protective eyewear when engaging in activities such as home repairs or sports. Projectiles can damage your eyes and could even lead to blindness. Throw on some protective eyewear so that you’ll be ready for anything that comes your way.
Do you spend your days on the computer or doing close work? If so, you need to avoid eye strain that can damage your eyes. After 20 minutes of computer or close work, focus on an object that is 20 feet from where you are sitting or standing. Maintain your focus for 20 seconds before going back to work. Do this every 20 minutes so that you don’t wear your eyes out. If your eyes still feel tired, talk to your optometrist. You might have dry eyes.
